2002, striker for the mighty Sandown Sociedad.

Ilya Leonov of Russia.

3.Where’s the best place you have played beach soccer?
Tignes. Beach Soccer in a ski resort is surreal but an incredible experience.

4.Who has been your biggest influence in beach soccer?
My brother Luke Kerr.

5.What’s the most important attribute a player needs to play beach soccer on the International stage?
Concentration. There are plenty of distractions that could catch a players eye off the sand and the game moves so fast, it’s important to be switched on at all times.

6.What is your favourite beach soccer memory to date?
Scoring the winning penalty v Estonia in the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers, 2008.

7.How would you describe the game of beach soccer?
Spectacular.

8.What’s the best beach soccer goal you’ve seen scored?
Mark Mitchell v Germany in 2008. Volley from inside our own half.

9.What do you think England needs to become a world force?
Funding.

10.In one word describe our beautiful game?
Underestimated.
